Santa F#@!ed Up! X-mas Spirit Painting

I found this oldish wood shelf in a basement that was cut into four pieces and decided they would make great smooth canvases for painting on. As I am starring at them trying to think of what I could paint I notice I am surrounded by dusty-ass x-mas decorations so I decided it be neat to paint the look on a kids face when he opens a gift and sees all of the glory of not getting what he asked Santa for. I used acrylic paint with ink and coated the panting with Polyurtrane for an extra glossy look.

Two-Noun Doodle Project

The two-word doodle project is a little on-going project I have created for myself when I am hanging around friends for art nights or movies ect. They give me two nouns and I then create a doodle combining those two nouns some how. For instance- Pig & Skate, Eskimo & Jupiter, Pea &  Ham Fists….get it? It’s pretty simple, and pretty darn fun to do! They are created on regular-ass sketch paper using ink and Letraset markers (my fav markers of all time). That’s about it. I will post more of these as they are made I am sure.

Ah! Finally, an Art Blog!

Well, I figured it was about that time to have an art blog of my own. Although I post a lot of my work on flickr, I figured it can’t hurt to have a blog to add to the social media crap that is available. Also, sometimes I paint and create something based on a story or person or bad joke and it would be neat to share the story behind the art along with the piece. Here it is, blog time. Make it so! I made it so.
